The Victim Service
The Victim Service works in a person-centred way to support people to cope and recover from being a victim of crime.
We keep people at the centre of any support we provide by working together, promoting autonomy and allowing people to have a say in the support they receive.
It is a free, non-statutory service with no obligation.
Our service is not time limited, we will discuss and agree a period of working together, create goals and have regular reviews.
A victim can expect an initial meeting with one of our support workers in their preferred location.
We will discuss their needs and offer acceptance and offerings of what support we can offer.
This can vary between practical support and advocacy to emotional and psychological support.
We can tailor make support to fit a person’s needs and whole heartedly support them to cope and recover.
