As part of the Cornwall Works For Learning Disabilities project, Cornwall Council, Department of Adult Social Care, Can help people with learning disabilities to set up there own business.


What is self employment?

Self employment is an good way to work and earn money.

You would be your own boss.

You would decide what you do and where you work.

Your business could be based on something you like doing and are good at.

You might need help from an accountant to pay tax and National Insurance.

We will work with you to help turn your idea into a business.


How can we help you?

We can help by finding people to give you good business advice.

We can help you write an business plan.

We can help you set up an network of people to help you in your business.

We can help you to link with other people setting up their own business so you can help each other.
