The scheme which originated from Hertfordshire, aims to help people with learning disabilities deal with any incident that takes place while they are out and about in the community.
Establishments in towns across the county are being invited to join up to the scheme and will be issued with stickers displaying the ‘Safe Places’ logo indicating that their premises are a safe haven.
