In September 2007 we started to meet with some people who helped us think about raising money to help create jobs.
In October 2007 Cornwall People First held a conference about jobs in Truro.
Lots of people turned up. Many people said they would help us explore finding out about jobs.
We thought about our vision for the future and about what we need to do to make our vision happen.
We really want more people with Learning Disabilities to have proper paid jobs if they want them.
We should all have a chance to find out more about working and the all different jobs that there are.
We hope to do more work on developing people's chances this year.
On Monday 23rd June 2008, a new project was launched in Cornwall.
This exciting new project has been funded by the European Union Social Fund

'Cornwall Works For Learning Disabilities' is an innovative partnership that works across the county.
The project offers support to help you think about what you are good at and what you would like to do in the future.
