communication development

[listen to audio transcript]

Our Communication Development project teaches people with learning disabilities all about the various ways we can communicate.

We record and share information in a way that makes sense.
We try to make all our information easy to understand for everyone.

We work with two other organisations called Creative and Photosymbols.
Duncan Yates is from Creative and Pete Le Grys is from Photosymbols.

We work all across Cornwall.

We work with our ideas about getting good information.

We are learning how to take photographs.

We are learning how to use video cameras to make short films.

We are learning how to use graphic facilitation.

We share notes from meetings in lots of different ways.

We have started to develop a Cornish picture library.

We help other organisations develop information that is easy to understand.

We have recently won an award for making our Access Pass information easy to understand.
