28/07/2008 New Trustees!

We will soon be holding the Husting and Voting meetings to elect our new board of trustees.Would you like to be a trustee of Cornwall People First and help make important decisions?Do you know somebody else that would?If you would like to be a trustee, you need to:•  Be available to come to regular meetings, every 4-6 weeks. Transports is arranged and paid for by Cornwall People First.•  Prepare a short speech or write a short letter which explains to other memebers why you would make a good trustee. Members will be able to either vote for you by post or at the husting meeting. The husting meeting will be on 22nd October at Lanhyrock Village Hall.TRANSPORT WILL BE ARRANGED BY CORNWALL PEOPLE FIRST.We will need to know by 8th October if you would like to apply to be one of the new trustees.For further information or help with your speech call the People First office:01736 334857Click here to download the 'Becoming a Trustee' Information Pack. Maria and Gracie May came to the Penzance office to see us.Both are doing really well and it was lovely to see them.Gracie May is now 5 weeks old.

Debbie O'Nyons has left Cornwall People First to be a nurse. We now welcome Daniel Newman who is the new Outreach worker for Mid and West Cornwall.
